Net profit subtracts cost of goods sold. Verid stores per-SKU unit COGS in base currency and applies it to order lines (and proportional clawback on refunds).
Products page
Dashboard → Products lists SKUs from synced order items. Set or override unit COGS and save — Verid re-applies costs to lines and re-aggregates daily profit.
Magento cost attributes
Optional: enable server-side fetch of Magento product cost attributes during sync (can be slow on large catalogs). Prefer bulk overrides on Products for most merchants.
Bundle & configurable products
Magento puts revenue on the parent line and lists selected simples as children. Bundle parents often have Magento cost = 0. Verid rolls COGS from the selected simple SKUs onto the parent (and stores that unit cost on the bundle SKU). Child lines keep unit cost for reference but do not add to day COGS, so totals are not double-counted.
Tips
- Use base-currency unit cost (same as store base currency in Settings)
- Update COGS when suppliers change prices; historical days recompute from stored lines
